  • Head consist of 1st segments, thorax of four segments and abdomen of 20 to 100 segments.
  • Each abdominal segments bear two pairs of legs

  • Excretion through malphighian tubules
  • When touched they curl up in flat spiral like a watch spring
  • Odoriferous gland is present
